A childlike drawing of a shirt, shorts, a sock, and a hat, on what looks like a piece of wrinkled paper. Some of the articles of clothing are roughly colored in blue, green, and red. Written at the center of the image is the phrase ‘Why do you think I never grow out of my clothes?’

Children’s Growth Awareness Week is September 18-24
For nearly 50 years, Novo Nordisk has helped those who live with growth disorders by connecting them with useful information and resources.
That's why we're supporting Children's Growth Awareness Week, which encourages parents to take an active role in monitoring their child's growth — tracking it over time and communicating their concerns to their doctor.
 Explore growth awareness
A nurse in a medical office is measuring the height of a young child. The nurse is wearing blue hospital scrubs; the child wears a white dress. The nurse is looking at the measuring device; the child looks at the camera. Both are smiling.
The time to address your child's growth issues? ASAP.
Shorter height, a slowing growth rate, or other traits in your child may be signs of a growth deficiency.
If you suspect an issue with your child’s growth — or they've been diagnosed with a growth disorder already — there's no time to waste. Seeing a specialist or getting them started on treatment offers the best chance for addressing their condition.
