What is open enrollment? Open enrollment is the annual window of time when you can apply for an insurance plan or change your current plan. When open enrollment closes, you generally can’t apply for health insurance until the next year, unless you have a major life change such as a new job or a move to another state.

Here are some of the ways we provide support:
Getting things started with a new insurance plan. NordiCare® will work directly with the insurance company and perform a benefits investigation to make sure you’re eligible for coverage.
Dealing with a denial of coverage from your insurance company. Many plans are required to explain why a prescription drug claim was denied. We can help you get to the bottom of it.
Appealing a denial. If you qualify,a NordiCare® will advocate on your behalf. And for added support, our specialists will be available to answer your questions throughout the process.
Reauthorizations. Some plans require that your prescription for Norditropin® be re-approved once or twice per year. We can handle that, too, working with your doctor’s office and insurance company to communicate all the necessary information.
aAppeal support is available only for commercially insured patients with an FDA-approved Norditropin® indication. Patients who participate in any government, state, or federally funded medical or prescription benefit programs, including Medicare, Medicaid, Medigap, VA, DOD, and TRICARE, including patients who participate in a managed Medicaid program or have Medicaid as secondary insurance, are not eligible for appeal support.

Does back-to-school mean a whole new routine?
A new school year brings a whirl of excitement, with new teachers and classes. For many children, it also brings new activities—which can impact your family’s daily routine. When your child is using Norditropin®, a routine is important to help take the medication just as your doctor has prescribed it.
3 tips for setting up an injection routine.
Make it a team effort. Let your child “own” a part of the routine, whether it’s choosing where to inject or checking off the calendar each day.
Give praise. A little positive reinforcement can have a big impact when teaching the importance of daily injections.
Keep all of your supplies together. Having alcohol wipes, a sharps container, needles, and other supplies in one place streamlines the process.
